Meet George “Trey” Bilbrey
George “Trey” Bilbrey is the founder of TreyCraft Consulting, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, and a cybersecurity practitioner, educator, and keynote speaker with 18 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. He specializes in purple team exercises, threat emulation, critical infrastructure security, holistic cyber operations, and practical security training.
Trey’s experience includes serving in the United States Marine Corps in defensive and offensive cyber operations. He later conducted ICS and SCADA penetration testing for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, building deep experience protecting critical infrastructure. He also developed cybersecurity training content for Hack The Box Academy. Across these roles, his experience spans both attacking and defending networks—and helping security teams turn lessons learned into lasting improvements.
His current certifications include CISSP, GICSP, GCIP, and K-FiveFour RTAC. Trey has also held a CCNA and multiple Microsoft certifications. He was the 2026 keynote speaker for BSides Tampa and has presented at RSA Conference and DEF CON.
Trey founded TreyCraft because small and midsize businesses deserve strong cybersecurity without the staggering price tag of a major security brand. One serious incident should not be allowed to destroy years of hard work. TreyCraft delivers practical, high-quality guidance, training, and hands-on support designed around each client’s risks, goals, and budget.
Based in the Tampa Bay area, TreyCraft primarily serves local small and midsize businesses and selectively supports clients nationwide.
